These regular incursions are always educational, inclusive, interactive and heaps of fun.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section i_icon_fontawesome=&#8221;fas fa-music&#8221; add_icon=&#8221;true&#8221; title=&#8221;Li Mara Music Program&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1689336565461-a14e82c8-9d2b&#8221;][vc_column_text]This \u2018Everyday Music\u2019 program offers opportunities for children to experience hands-on and play-based learning activities.<\/p>\n<p>Children are involved in listening to, playing, holding and creating music, using both traditional instruments and homemade ones.<\/p>\n<p>There is a particular focus on simple movement and music, which incorporates the use of gross motor skills through songs, rhymes, actions and dance.<\/p>\n<p>Li Mara Music also focuses on the use of early years language, and the sessions incorporate storytelling and singing, which invites children to develop their language skills and vocabulary.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section i_icon_fontawesome=&#8221;fas fa-trophy&#8221; add_icon=&#8221;true&#8221; title=&#8221;Sports&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1689336639801-0c0a376f-b9c8&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Playskills Sports Program<\/span> visits the centre each week, and the children participate in a 30-minute sports lesson that involves a different sport each week. The children develop ball skills, hand-eye coordination, and teamwork as they have a whole lot of fun with Coach Mika.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section i_icon_fontawesome=&#8221;fas fa-language&#8221; add_icon=&#8221;true&#8221; title=&#8221;Abecedarian Approach \u2013 3A&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1689336703631-50cef565-1cf0&#8243;][vc_column_text]The Abecedarian Approach places a priority on children\u2019s language acquisition because language is a proven core of early learning and school readiness. Language allows children to organise their thoughts and explain their ideas; it gives them the means to express their feelings and the tools they need to interact with peers and adults.<\/p>\n<p>The focus of the 3a approach is providing specific evidence-based techniques that advance the personal, social and academic achievements of very young children as they grow and learn.
